3. Desktop Application

The ChessPilot desktop app runs entirely on your local machine. All chess analysis is performed locally using the bundled Stockfish engine. No game data, board positions, or analysis results are sent to our servers.

The only network request the app makes is to validate your license key against our API.

To deliver your license key via email after purchase.
To validate license keys for the desktop application.
To process payments and manage subscriptions.
To send important service updates (e.g., subscription expiry).
