1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using ChessPilot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our software.

2. License

ChessPilot grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on your personal devices. Each license key is valid for one user.

Free tier — limited features, no license key required.
Monthly ($5/mo) — full features for the duration of your subscription.
Lifetime ($50) — full features forever, including future updates.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

Share, resell, or redistribute your license key.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the ChessPilot software.
Use ChessPilot in any manner that violates Chess.com's terms of service.
Use the software for commercial purposes without written permission.

4. Disclaimer

ChessPilot is provided as a chess analysis and learning tool. We do not endorse or encourage using ChessPilot to cheat in competitive or rated chess games. Use of the software in violation of Chess.com's fair play policies is solely at your own risk.

5. Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. You retain access until the end of your billing period.
No refunds once a license key has been used (i.e., activated or validated in the desktop app). Before activation, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to revoke your license if you violate these terms. In case of termination for abuse, no refund will be provided.

7. Limitation of Liability

ChessPilot is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our software, including but not limited to account suspensions on third-party platforms.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of ChessPilot after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
